Heavy Material Handling Between Stations

High-payload CR robots and dedicated manipulators move billets, long profiles, and cast parts between furnaces, presses, saws, and packing stations without crane waiting time.

How the cell works

For billet and profile transfer, the robot or manipulator is sized around the heaviest part plus the gripper, with reach checked against the furnace, press, or saw layout. Heat-rated grippers and shielding are reviewed when parts come directly from a furnace.

Replacing crane-and-hook transfer with a robot cell shortens the transfer path, removes swinging loads above operators, and gives the next station a repeatable placement position every cycle.
